My father was going in for surgery so I called him the night before and before I hung up I told him I love you dad and he said i love you too son. That was the first time my father ever told me he loved me and sadly the last, he passed away the next morning. So I think of him every time I hear this song.
Who is listening in 2026
I have terminal cancer less than 4 months to live. Went from a 220 pound ripped bodybuilder who ran half marathons to a 98 pound skeleton. Thought I would live to a good age I am only 42. Everybody live your life to the fullest.
This song is a masterpiece.
The older you get, the more this song hurts….
