My name is Mandy. My parents named me because of this song. It is my birthday today and it is the first year without my parents as I tragically lost them in a drowning accident. Every year on my Birthday Day my Dad would send me this song, now I listen to it today to honour them with tears 😢in my eyes.
The 70s and 80s had the best music EVER!!
Who's with me in 2026? ❤ This song is wonderful, so beautiful it enchants the soul and touches the heart! We can feel the melody, as if it were a poem... just close your eyes... it can transform silence into emotion! It speaks when words fail, it touches the depths of our being! Can you feel it? A loving kiss to all who appreciate this song!
I love this song. I was 16 when I heard this song on the radio. I always said if I have a daughter I will name her Mandy. My Mandy is 45 now and her 20 year old daughter has just discovered Barry. She loves the song Mandy and couldn't believe we never told her why I named her Mandy.❤
I grew up with Ozzy, ACDC, and Maiden. The other day, coming home from work, this came on the radio. I took the long way around just to listen to the whole song again. Now that's someone who makes an impact
