United StatesCowboy Junkies are a Canadian alt-country band formed by three siblings from the Timmins entertainment family (Margo Timmins, vocals; Michael Timmins, songwriter & guitars; Peter Timmins, drums) plus Alan Anton on bass. The group formed in Toronto in 1986. The band's name was simply a random choice as they approached their first ever gig, but it has come to perfectly represent their sound. (Some sources may credit Townes Van Zandt's song "Cowboy Junkies Lament" as the source of the band's name

This is what happens when you get a bunch of great musicians together whose resting heart rate is like 39. Love it.
August 2025. My son passed in July. This song helps the pain in some way. His name was Dylan. We called him Moon. He was precious. So beautiful. 27 years old but special needs and cognitively 8. The most beautiful 27 years of my life. What an honor to be his mama. If you see a perfect Moonlit night, please say hello Dylan for me🥹🖤✨️🌙
Her voice is like a soothing, warm breeze on a quiet summer evening.
