Sadly a pal of mine from school took his own life last year. I'll always remember sitting in his bedroom in 96 aged 16 watching him on his drum kit trying to drum along to this song and singing out of tune and me in stitches laughing. Rest easy friend and thanks for the good times.
My brother Kyle, committed suicide 4 years ago & this toon was one of his faves so I play it in his memory for both of us. Whenever I'm feeling down i listen to this & think of the good times we shared.
A cracking song from a cracking album.. I loved the mid 90s and Britpop, great music, The Word, TFI Friday, Alchopops, Baggy Jeans, Fred Perry, Euro 96, what a time to be alive.. Today everything is just shit.
