SwedenErasure are an English synth-pop duo formed in London in 1985, consisting of lead vocalist and songwriter Andy Bell and songwriter, producer, and keyboardist Vince Clarke, who was previously a co-founder of Depeche Mode and the synth-pop duo Yazoo. The duo achieved significant commercial success from their fourth single, "Sometimes" (1986), and became one of the most prominent acts in the UK from the mid-1980s through the mid-1990s. Between 1986 and 2007, Erasure had 24 consecutive top 40 entries on the UK Singles Chart.

My husband & I had only been together 2 yrs when this came out. We were together for 34 yrs. I lost him in 2020 to cancer at 58 yrs old. This song reminds me of you Gareth. Miss you love
This song reminds me of my mother. She loved erasure. Two months ago she passed away from COVID-19. I miss her so I just listen to everything she listened to. I love you mom.
