Recordando a mi mamá que se fue hace unos pocos días ….la música me eleva a lo profundo de su alma que navega ahora por el universo.
Music is such an awesome human creation. .... Such an escape from the dreary mundane life.... these musicians together make me feel glad to still be alive... and Ennio Morricone's music forever in my soul
I went to cinema school in NYU Tisch after leaving everything behind in Japan 3yrs ago. To pursue my dream to work in Hollywood. We saw cinema paradiso in class and tho it was my 4th or 5th time, I cried like a baby in the scene when old and blind Alfredo tells Toto in the station never to come home. It felt like my parents and friends in Japan had told me so. Cliche story but as a dreamer w cinephilia, this movie and obviously Morricone's music have a special place in my heart. Thank you legend, and RIP...
