BrazilZZ Top is an American rock band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1969. The group is known for its blend of blues rock, boogie rock, and hard rock, as well as for the distinctive visual image of guitarist and vocalist Billy Gibbons and bassist and vocalist Dusty Hill, who for many years appeared with long beards, sunglasses, and hats. For more than five decades, the band's line-up consisted of Gibbons, Hill, and drummer Frank Beard. Following Hill's death in 2021, longtime guitar technician Elwood Francis became the band's bassist.
